First Peas!

The peas are so perfect. I've been eating them raw right in the garden, foraging along the vines like an animal. There are two animals who would also like to be allowed at the vines. Saffy and Silas love, love, love peas. They are not fussy and will eat them pod and all.

The dog's other favorite veggie is almost ready, zukes! There are lots of yellow flowers and small, finger sized zukes.

The first acorn squashes I planted are starting to set baby squash. You can play 'Where's Waldo' and spot one in this picture.

I am still working on getting seeds and seedlings planted. Then I have to work on getting the second seed crops started, while beginning the harvest/preserving of the first!
