I haven't had a lot of time for knitting, but the mittens are taking shape. I took this pic just after I finished the right thumb. I'm quite pleased with how the join at the base of the thumb turned out. The twee vase is a trinket that my grandmother gave me last week. It has a little thatched cottage pictured on it and says "A bit of Old England".

Blue Mittens Progress
I haven't had a lot of time for knitting, but the mittens are taking shape. I took this pic just after I finished the right thumb. I just love the things you choose to photograph with your knitting. The little vase and the mitten compliment one another so nicely! (I need to get my mother's knitting pattern -- those mittens look like fun, but not too hard).
