Saying Goodbye

My blog will be especially quiet for a time while I deal with the loss of my grandmother who died on Saturday.

It's from her that I inherited my love for knitting. She was a talented knitter and even in the last weeks of her life taught her home nurse how to knit as she couldn't stand to see the woman sit around not doing anything with her hands!

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was beautiful, and a giving soul, too, passing on her gift that you will think about every time you pick up the needles.

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother too. Your likeness to her is remarkable -- you have the same smile! I'm sure she is very proud of your knitting and all you have accomplished. ((hugs)) as you go through this difficult time.
