Noni Progress

The Noni Bag is coming along. I've been weaving in yarn ends as I was finding it too difficult to neatly carry the doubled yarn up the edge that will be the opening of the bag. Tell me, am I going to have a disaster when I felt? Will the woven in ends be lumpy? I am very nervous about this! I've never felted (on purpose!), so I really don't know what to expect.

We've had some beautiful sunny days here this week and I've been out biking. On Monday, temps reached the 50's and I biked by these woolly guys.

I have felted and it is a little scary, but it was OK. I made the pumpkin bag on Magknits for Darkside of Knitting!! Good luck with the felting, the bag has really nice colours. Here in Australia some places have almost been in the 50s (48) but it is Celsius!!!!!

I think felting covers a multitude of sins, and doubt that the woven parts will be noticeable.

Wow, you have had some nice weather!
You'll wonder why you bothered to weave in the ends once the bag felts up - once felted nothing goes anywhere!

Can't wait to see your bag felt and have no fears, it'll be beautiful! I love felting when we mean to do it!

Look at your weather too ... can't tell you how different it is here in cold, wet, windy Wales:(

Your bag looks great so far!

We have a lot of snow here today, just when it was feeling like spring. Did a short ride on Saturday but now it will be back to the trainer.
