This and That

I've finished the front portion of the shaped lace tee, so now I really must stop procrastinating about frogging the back a little to re knit it a bit shorter. It's been a rather strange feeling to be knitting a lacy summer top with a wool blanket I keep over the back of the couch in winter pulled over my shoulders!

While procrastinating on the shaped lace tee, I've made a good start on the front and back sections of black raspberry, working them in parallel.

Cold weather always makes me want to cook, so I can stand next to the warm cook top or oven! A few nights ago I improvised in the kitchen and made this chicken marsala. It's not at all healthy, but it's fall comfort food and tasted soooo good!

Saffy and Silas are enjoying the crisp fall air as they have nice furry coats to keep them warm. They were intently watching a squirrel when I snapped these pics.

The two dog pictures look like negative/positive images, funny.

mmm, chicken marsala. Yum! I have to admit that some of our dinners have been somewhat more "substantial" shall we say than healthy, though they always have lots of vegies in them.
I have to frog back a one piece jacket and knit it a ball of yarn longer. Yours is too long, mine too short!

It is strange to be knitting summer tops in fall/winter -- I agree! I'm sure you're as anxious to finish yours as I am mine, and get to the winter things before it gets warm again.

What sweet dog photos! (Can I request a kitty photo next? What is Bandit up to lately?)

Oh, Saffy and Sam look at squirrels the same way The Labradors look at duckies, pelicans and other wildlife!!!
They are losing their Winter undercoat and we are all dog hairy.
Oh the chicken looks delicious!!!!
