Many of the determinate tomato plants look so spent now, but fruits are still ripening on what's left of the vines. Here are the two wash trays with today's harvest. Plus, I had 8 or so large tomatoes like Brandy Boys and Rutgers in the wash bowl in the sink as they wouldn't fit on the trays without being in danger of rolling off.
There are mostly plums on this tray.
Even though this harvest was smaller than others, we still got one of the highest yields of puree--12 bags for the freezer. That's due to all the plums that require little cooking to make a thick puree.

I think you are being taken over by all the tomatoes!! You are prepared for any tomato emergency now!!
