1st of the Season
We have some ripe tomatillos! I wasn't even looking for any, but saw something out of the corner of my eye as I was walking past and had a closer look. It really was what I thought it was! I found a couple more and will have a harder look later in case there are more and then make a little bowl of salsa.

I don't know what tomatillos are, I shall google them.. I did see a nice eggplant recipe in a new cooking magazine so I will have to find it for you!!
